Led Zeppelin in Salt Lake City circa 1973

Not much of a fan of the mighty Zep. Similar to listening to my grandma talk about her missing teeth a few hundred times. Mush mouth and predictable. These songs have been played so much that all of the original meaning and weight must have floated off to the 70′s never to return.

However, people here in Salt Lake City may find this boot interesting. It has really good sound after the first couple of songs. Soundboard recording except for ‘rock and roll’ and ‘communication breakdown’.

Where Goya meets Sleestaks

Were Sid and Marty Krofft creating an allusion to the famous Goya painting in this episode of “Land of the Lost”? Will the Will Ferrell remake coming out this summer (2009) destroy everyone’s memories of Sleestaks — probably.
